Mrs. Jonnie Glover

Mrs. Jonnie Glover of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Southeast Health.  She was 91.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in the First Baptist Church of Slocomb with Rev. Brad Price officiating.  Interment will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Glover was born February 21, 1930 in Geneva County to the late Euell D. and Vassie Byrd Anderson. Jonnie was a great woman of faith and member of the First Baptist Church of Slocomb.  She loved until it hurt and will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Leslie Maurice Glover preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Tim Glover and his wife Joy; grandson, Daniel Glover and his wife Becky; sister, Ann Turner and her husband, Del; brothers: Dewey Anderson and Andy Anderson; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
