Johnny Frank Thompson

Mr. Johnny Frank Thompson of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  He was 63.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. David Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests you honor Mr. Thompson’s memory with your contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.  Mr. Thompson was born August 4, 1955 in Bay County, FL to the late John and Katie Killingsworth Thompson.  Johnny loved his family deeply, enjoyed spending time at the beach, and will be greatly missed.  In addition to his parents, a nephew, Frankie Lee and a great nephew, Noah Lee preceded him in death.  Survivors include three sisters: Julia Attilio (Don), TX, Sarah Waters (Andrew), Slocomb, and Helen Trampe (Kenneth), Slocomb; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
