John Wayne German

Mr. John Wayne German of Slocomb passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023.  He was 68.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Tony Wood officiating.

Mr. German was born July 17, 1954 in Alabama to the late Milford German and Margaret Peters German.  Wayne was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, his wife, Peggie German; a sister, Betty German, and a brother, Talmadge German all preceded him in death.

Survivors include sisters: Debra German, Patricia Ward, Sylvia Donley, Sandra German, and Bobbie Ann Cox (Brian); step-son, Tony Wood (Lynn); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
