Janie Casey

Mrs. Janie Casey of Ozark passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Flowers Hospital. She was 71.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Ray Layton officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartford with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Casey was born April 24, 1952 in Slocomb to the late Coley A. and Nancy Sanders Justice.

In addition to her parents, brother, Dell Mark Justice preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Kirby Wayne Casey, Ozark; daughter, Laurie Bullock (Beary), Pinckard; sons: Jerome Elmore (Stacey), Daleville, Jonathan Elmore (Shelly), Level Plains, and Jason Elmore, Ozark; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Becky Barrall, Duluth, GA; sister-in-law, Debra Riley Justice, Ozark; other nieces, nephews and other extended and friends.
