Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Brown Dollar, aged 88, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Prattville. Born on September 20, 1937, in Crawford County, Ohio, Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Adrian and Bernice Fulton Brown.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb, with Chaplain Mike Watts officiating. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jackie was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother whose warm spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. Though she has gone from our sight, her love and memories will forever hold a special place in the lives of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Pamela Dollar Anderson, her precious grandson Logan Casey Sorrells, and her sisters Delores Mae Brown and Patricia Ann Brown.
Jackie’s legacy lives on through her loving family who survive her: daughters Phyllis Dollar Eason, Penny Dollar Sorrells, and Paula Dollar Ard (Don); grandchildren Samuel Ray House, Cody Crick (Ashton), Brad Knight, Brandy Knight Scott, Cameron Sorrells, Zachery Staley (Kaitlyn), Macaydon Ann Ard, and Kalani Claire House; great-grandchildren Carson Lane Crick, Elliote Paisley Knight, Abby Scott Collins (Anthony), and Braxton Michael Scott; and her great-great-granddaughter Elaina Nicole Collins. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Betty Jean Snyder, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Jackie’s life was a true blessing, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. We celebrate her nurturing heart, her gentle kindness, and the lasting love she shared with her family.
