Mr. Jackie Greathouse of Slocomb passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his residence. He was 56.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Singletary officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Greathouse was born November 10, 1957 in Geneva County to the late Marion Eudon and Myrtle Waters Greathouse.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Helms (Rickey), Wicksburg; a son, Jason Greathouse, Slocomb; three brothers: Stevie Greathouse, Slocomb, Ronnie Greathouse, Hartford and Larry Joe Wilkerson, Opelika; two grandchildren: Layna and Ethan Helms; the mother of his children, Janie Greathouse, Slocomb; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
