Jack Curtis Endicott

Jack Curtis Endicott of Hartford left his earthly home on Monday, March 17, 2014 after a courageous battle of four years against cancer. He was 49.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb chapel with Dr. Ralph Brannon, Dr. Moody Faulk and Rev. Chris Kroll officiating and Rev. Bruce Spivey providing the music. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jack was born April 2, 1964 in Roanoke, VA to Alan and Betty Endicott. He traveled with his family across the country due to his father’s military service. In 1975 the family settled in Hartford where Jack graduated from Geneva County High School in 1983. After graduation Jack entered the military service where he was stationed with the 82nd. Airborne Division in Ft. Bragg, NC. After four years’ service, he joined the Hartford and Ozark National Guard Units on a courageous and taxing tour in Iraq.

Survivors include his parents, Betty and Alan Endicott, his children: Christian Cox and Breanna Endicott; mother of his children, Brenda Hutto Endicott; sister and brother-in-law Kecia and Bill Heath; his special niece and nephew, Felicia and Cade Heath. He also adored his aunts and uncles, Rudolph and Peggy Thorne, Eleanor and Rex Sconyers, Don and the late Evelyn Thorne, Charles and the late Betty Thorne, Verlon and Cecil Thompson, Annette and the late Don Walker, Dick and Jan Endicott and David Endicott. His many loving cousins, include: David Thorne, Lynn and Chad Stoops, Donna and Chris Robinson, Mark and Brandi Thorne, Scott Thorne, Mellanie Poole, Rick and Sue Ellen Thompson, Shawn and Jeff Schmidt, Greg and Caroline Seibenhener, Jeff and Trina Seibenhener, Jim and Rhonda Endicott, Sue Endicott Murphy and Eric Endicott.
