Henry “Hank” Etheridge of Slocomb passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Flowers Hospital. He was 79.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Malvern. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
Hank was born December 8, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to the late John and Pearl Tutt Etheredge. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served his country honorably. Henry was loved by his family and will be missed!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his previous wife, Grace H. Etheridge; sister, Frances E. Sames; and brother, John B. Etheridge.
He is survived by his wife whom he loved dearly, Pat Etheridge; nephews: Blake Ehteridge, Tom Sames, and Billy Sames; nieces, Sally Hogue and Katy Etheridge; and other extended family and friends.
A Memorial service will be held in Henry's home state of Texas at a later date.
