Gloria Sanford Lupkes

Mrs. Gloria Sanford Lupkes of Wicksburg passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home. She was 73.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Jerry Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Jellico Community Cemetery in Wicksburg.

The family will receive friends at the funeral hone one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Lupkes was born May 4, 1945 in California to the late Robert M. and Lillian Jordan Sanford. Gloria enjoyed working in the outdoors, and doing crafts especially crocheting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, husband, Stephen G. Lupkes; son, Robert William Sirmons preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Smith (Larry), and Dr. Sharon Sirmons; sons: Brian Lupkes (Trudy), and Brad Lupkes; 10 grandchildren; sisters: Katherine Smith (Ronald), and Marie DeHaven (Edward); brother, Robert Sanford (Robbie); loving nieces, nephews and cousins; other extended family and friends.
