Mrs. Glenda Fay Phillips of Wewahitchka, FL passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at Encompass Health & Rehabilitation Center of Dothan. She was 77.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024 in the Slocomb City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Phillips was born December 3, 1946 in Hartford to the late James T. and Hazel L. Williford Collins.
In addition to her parents, her husband Willie Ray Phillips; one brother, James “Jimmy” Collins; and one sister, Lillian Peters preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter, Laura Lynell Whited; grandchildren: Jeremy Whited, and Ryan Shropshire; great grandson, Lance Shropshire; step-son, Michael Phillips and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
