Frances Yeomans Andrews

Mrs. Frances Yeomans Andrews of Hartford passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her home.  She was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Eddie Biss officiating.  Interment will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Andrews was born December 14, 1932 in Geneva County to the late Earlie C. and Pearlie Goodman Yeomans.  Frances was employed at Sony and retired from Van Huesan after 35 years.  She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, loved her family dearly, and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, her first husband and father of her children, Lunie Stephens; second husband, Raymond Andrews; siblings: Markes Yeomans, George Yeomans, J.E. Yeomans, Charlie Yeomans, and David Yeomans all preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters:  Dorothy Peters (Gerald), Doris McDaniel, Dora Ellen Doss; one son:  Al Stephens (Joye) of Dothan; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; sister, Betty Crutchfield; brothers: J.W. Yeomans and Johnnie Yeomans; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
