Ezra Rudolph “Randy” Tenney

Mr. Ezra Rudolph “Randy” Tenney of Geneva, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Hartford Health Care. He was 83.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.

Mr. Tenney was born June 21, 1938 in Geneva County, Alabama. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed making people laugh, loved going out to eat, and will be dearly missed

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Lois Mays Hood; and two daughters: Bonita Tenney Terry and Lisa Carroll Ogle.

Survivors include five children: Selenta Rena Taylor, Randall Wade Tenney, Cynthia Leah Tenney, Timothy Sean Tenney, and Waylon Bradley Tenney (Lauren); eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings: Sue Tenney, James Tenney (Patsy), Wayne Hood, and Sybil Hood Kennedy (Jimmy); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
