Edwin Garner

Mr. Edwin “Eddie” Garner Jr. of Dothan passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at his residence. He was 67.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 25, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb.

Mr. Garner was born in Anniston, AL to the late Edwin Garland Garner Sr. and Kathryn Sparks Garner. Eddie was an avid Alabama Fan “Roll Tide”. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and brought joy to everyone.

Survivors include three daughters: Becki Garner, Dothan, Bridget Woodward, Pensacola, FL and Kimberly King, Wake Forest, NC; one son, Shawn Garner, Deerfield Beach, FL; one sister, Louanne Grimes, Dothan; five grandchildren: Haylee and Jake Kernoschak, Johnny Hanlon, Alyssa and Brandon Woodward; one great grandchild, Ashton Kernoschak.
