Dorothy Elmore Hall

Mrs. Dorothy Elmore Hall of Malvern passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at her home. She was 72.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Hosea Parker and Chaplain Tim Bedsole officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until service time.

Mrs. Hall was born on February 2, 1941 in Geneva County to the late Charles Wesley and Claudie Valentine Sasser Elmore. She was a member of Malvern Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Luther C. Hall; grandson, Kevin Paul Bedsole and brother, Charles Edwin Elmore preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters: Tammie Hall Bedsole (Timothy), Davenport, Iowa and Sondra Hall Beadore (Butch), Tuscaloosa; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Elmore, Taylor; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
