Dixie Hardy Brooks

Mrs. Dixie Hardy Brooks of Marianna, FL passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center.  She was 76.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Interment will follow in the New Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 noon until service time.

Mrs. Brooks was born June 8, 1943 in Geneva County to the late William Lester and Lula C Donia Williams Hardy.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Andrew Jackson Brooks; and three siblings all preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons: Gary Dwayne Butler (Lisa), Jimmy Edward Butler, and William Kenneth Mott; grandchildren: Ricky Butler, Jonathan Butler(Maria) , Skye Damron (Micahel) , Jessica Butler, and Joshua Butler; great grandchildren: Jonathan, Mali, and Luna; several nieces nephews and other extended family and friends.
