Daniel Larry Tew

Mr. Daniel Larry Tew of Slocomb passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home. He was 78.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Burial will follow in the Wrights Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mr. Tew was born March 2, 1945 in Bonifay, FL to the late Daniel S. and Mary Lee Singletary Tew.

In addition to his parents, sister, Sharlene Morehead; brother, Johnny Tew, and granddaughter, Marinda all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his partner, Joan Tew; daughter, Sonia Callahan (David); son, Michael Tew (Georgia); grandchildren: William Harrelson, Michael Xanders, Robert Zumdahl, Samantha Dye, Kaitlyn Ford, Kaycie Ford, and Adam Dye; brother, Dan Tew; step-mother, Roberta Tew; other extended family and friends.
