Mrs. Charlene P. Godwin of Esto, FL passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Hartford Health Care. She was 86.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday December 6, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb. Burial will follow in the Esto Community Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Godwin was born July 17, 1927 in Hartford to the late Archie L. and Daisy White Plunkett. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, her husband, John Cecil Godwin and son, David Godwin preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Steven Godwin (Sharon), Spring Hill FL; two grandchildren: Christopher and Shawn Godwin; brother-in-law, Ray Godwin (Janice), Slocomb.
