Bobby Gene Tindell

Mr. Bobby Gene Tindell of Hartford passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018.  He was 72.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Hartford Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Tindell was born October 20, 1945 in Geneva County. Bobby Gene was a 1964 graduate of Geneva County High School where he excelled in all sports while wearing #"33".   He loved the Atlanta Braves, playing golf and was Auburn footballs' #1 fan! WAR EAGLE, FOREVER!

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Fondren Tindell-Gavin; his father, Charles Wilson "Jack" Tindell; and a sister, "Little" Dorothy Virginia Tindell. Survivors include his daughter, Jeana Ann Tindell; grandchildren: Jessica Rae Tyler and Zachary Blake Pearson; sisters: Jeannette Lee (Murray), Jacqueline Dorriety and Shirley Ann Peters; brother, Jimmy Wilson Tindell; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
