Mr. Bobby V. Snell of Dothan passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle. He was 77.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Bro. Brad Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Malvern Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.
Mr. Snell was born July 12, 1946 in Hartford to the late Van Buren Snell and Wannie H. Evans. Bobby never met a stranger and loved meeting new people and he especially enjoyed talking to his friends at Wesley Place. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, his wife Betty Snell preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters: Kasey Wallace (Shawn), and Kim West (Homer); grandchildren: Haden Smith (Zalin), Payne West, Madison Wallace, and Blake Wallace (Olivia); great grandchildren: Ashlyn Smith, Anniston Smith and Rosemary Wallace; sister, Vicky Snell Holcombe (Mark); other extended family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Wesley Place for their love and care during Mr. Snell’s stay there.
