Bobby G. Morgan

Mr. Bobby G. Morgan of Slocomb went home to be with the LORD, Thursday, October 17, 2019.  He was 80.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Bethesda Baptist Church with Rev. Don Haddan officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to family.

Mr. Morgan was born August 10, 1939 in Geneva County to the late Tolbert Grady and Mary Etta Smith Morgan.  Bobby was a loving husband, adoring father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ernestine Sue Sorrells Morgan; daughters: Laura Lynn Morgan, and Tina Kay Whatley (Andrew); son, Philip N. Morgan; grandchildren: Renea Nichole Morgan, and Kaley Michelle Morgan Adams (Joshua); a great grandchild, Finley Adams plus one on the way; siblings: Larry Earl Morgan (Margie), and Lanette Clark; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
