Blake Edward Carnes

Mr. Blake Edward Carnes of Headland passed away December 5, 2022. He was 33.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

Blake was born May 9, 1989 in Dothan to James Edward Carnes and Cynthia Chavis Carnes.

In addition to his father, James Edward Carnes; multiple grandparents, and uncle, Stephen Allen Chavis all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his fiancé, Hannah Williams; daughter, Lillian Rose Carnes; mother, Cynthia Chavis Carnes; maternal grandparents: Gerald and Judy Chavis; sister, Carlee Ann Carnes (Amanda); brothers: Charles Eugene Carnes (Jerri Lynn), James Hunter Carnes (Traci); several aunts, uncles, nieces, one nephew, and cousins.
