Betty Wheeler

Mrs. Betty Brooks Wheeler of Enterprise went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 73.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from the Meadowlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

Betty was born July 8, 1947 in Coffee County (Fairview Community) to the late Emanuel (P.D.) and Winnie Mae Wyatt Brooks. After attending local schools, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” Wheeler. They remained loving companions, raising two children until Bill’s untimely death in 1996.

In addition to her parents and her husband, a daughter, Tammy Wheeler, sisters, Christine Brooks Becker and Helen Brooks Kirkland, brothers, Robert Brooks, Gerald Brooks, Mickey Brooks and Mike Brooks all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Bryan Wheeler, Enterprise, sister, Terri Brooks, Enterprise, nieces and nephews and other relatives
