Betty Tindell

Mrs. Betty Tindell of Slocomb passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Wiregrass Medical Center. She was 84.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Malvern Baptist Church with Rev. Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Tindell was born June 22, 1938 in Geneva County to the late Arthur Talmadge and Carrie V. McElvain Rash. She was a member of Malvern Baptist Church. Mrs. Tindell enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Edmond Ray Tindell; daughter, Kim Welsh (Troy); sons: Michael Ray Tindell and James Tindell (Amber); grandchildren: Braelyn Tindell, Julianna Tindell, Brittney Ringstad, and Tyler Welsh; great-grandchildren: Caleb Stalnaker and Cohen Ringstad; brother, Bobby Rash (Betty Sue); other extended family and friends.
