Betty Joyce Fussell Collins

Mrs. Betty Joyce Fussell Collins of Slocomb passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Hartford Health Care. She was 74.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continue until service time.

Mrs. Collins was born February 4, 1949 in Grand Ridge, FL to the late Roy and Addie Mae Fussell. Betty was known for her kindness and generosity to others. She loved children and the elderly. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver and that is how she spent most of her life. Mrs. Collins was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, her grandson, Charles Randal Brent Robinson, Milton, FL and her brother, Billy Fussell, Grand Ridge, FL preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children: Randy Robinson (Rebecca Stone), Sandy Helms (Danny), and Andy Robinson; six grandchildren: Kendra Marki Robinson, Tyler Prim, Riley Robinson, Holton Helms, Hunter Helms, and Gavin Helms; great grandchild, Brantley Pendleton; her extra grandchildren: Colton and Jadyn Ash, Dothan; brother, Rev. Wayne Fussell (Brenda); other extended family and friends.
