Bennie C. Williford

Mrs. Bennie C. Williford of Fadette passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Flowers Hospital.  She was 82.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with her son Rev. Dric Williford and Rev. David Zorn officiating, and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Bennie’s memory with your contribution to the Corinth  Baptist Church.

Mrs. Williford was born on February 16, 1943, in the Bay Springs Community to the late Jack and Louise Enfinger McClenny and was the second of six children. Bennie was married to Louie Williford for 50 years. She loved her Lord and Savior, enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid fan of The Young and The Restless, and loved her cats.

In addition to her parents, her husband Louie Williford, and one sister, Ann Parrish, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Tonya Woodham (Tommy), and Dric Williford (Linda); grandchildren: Justin Woodham (Courtney), Britney Schuler (Peyton), Ethan Williford, and Julie Williford; great grandchildren: Carson Reese Woodham, and Phineas Schuler; siblings: Jackie Glover, Larry McClenny (Karen), Don McClenny (Nicole), Derrell McClenny (Rena); brother- in -law, Buddy Parrish;  several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Syble Jurkewicz and the many family members and friends who helped care for Bennie.
