Alyson Diane Johnston

Ms. Alyson Diane Johnston of Slocomb went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 11, 2018.  She was 23.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:20 p.m. on Saturday,   June 23, 2018 at Dothan Country Fellowship with Pastor Fred Bacher officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Alyson's memory with your contribution to the Alyson Johnston Memorial Fund at any Hancock Whitney Bank.     Alyson was born April 20, 1995 in Lakeland Florida to James Wesley and Denise Watson Johnston.  She graduated from Slocomb High School in 2013 before receiving her certification as a Nursing Assistant from Chipola College. Alyson possessed an outgoing spirit and has been described as head-strong and sassy who had an infectious smile.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved animals.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.    Alyson was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Leroy Watson, James E. Johnston and Charles Moore; uncle, Richard Watson; and an aunt, Janone Johnston.  Alyson leaves to cherish her memory a beautiful daughter, Raelynn Alisa-Grace Coley; her parents: James W and Denise Johnston; a brother, Logan Johnston; grandmothers: Opal Watson and Pat Moore; fiancée, Tommy Coley;  several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and a host of friends.
